Act 2 opens

June and Joe learn that a small asteroid smashed into a nearby Minuteman site. They haven't heard yet, but Joe's mom is safe. Roadways are closed.

Folks are running around crazy and don't care if the couple break away and head back down.

They comment and look forward to seeing what has come in to the Worm.

Great tone to that guitar, and I like all the wah-wah sounds and the laid-back strumming in the background. "People's hair on fire" is a really vivid image. Unsettling atmosphere with flashes of hope toward the end (as befitting the lyric). The story continues ...

I like the way you sing here: we're close to spoken words, which is apt to deliver your narrative.
Nice guitar work, and the atmosphere you create echoes your "Bathed in friendly neutrinos" line perfectly!
