Rita, a young woman entered

She picked up a forked stick
And a hand-sized smooth rock

Rita approached a bridge
Andre the skunk appeared
Trailing a fragrant air

She agreed because she was worried
About stories of a troll
Who lived under the bridge

“Ziss troll is an annoyance
Zat is ze troose”
Said Andre the skunk

Sure enough, the troll appeared
Very attractive and handsome
Unlike the stories

He said “My name is
Lotsa Change and I
Invite your embrace"

But Andre said "Zis troll
Is quite crazy and
Will make you crazy"

Rita paused
Then gave the troll
An embrace

Right away, the two
Spun into the air
Slapping their feet together

Rita dropped her rock
And the forked stick
Andre caught them both

Then Andre tossed the rock up
And placed the stick
Against the troll

Rita caught the rock
Lotsa Change was uncomfortable
With the stick at his back

Coming back to the ground
With a thud
The two looked dazed

“Lord, what’s that smell?”
Said Lotsa Change
Holding his nose

“Zis is my special sauce”
Said Andre
“It helps you wake from your dreams”

Rita threatened
To hit Lotsa Change
On his head with the rock

He put up his hands
To protect himself
And sang a short song:

‘Embrace Lotsa Change
You will only be c-c-crazy
For a little while’

Rita put her hand down
And said ‘Goodbye’
To the troll

At the end of the bridge
She thanked Andre
And he said

‘Whenever you need
A helping smell
Let me know’
